Due to a considerable pipeline of medium to large high-rise and commercial projects, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Protection Designer and/or Project Manager to join our friendly team located in the heart of Crows Nest.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Liaising with suppliers, builders and sprinkler fitters
2. Ordering pipe and material
3. Budget reporting
4. Supervising all stages of installation to commissioning
The successful applicant must have:
1. 3 years experience in the fire protection contracting industry.
2. Thorough knowledge of AS 2118.1 and the BCA.
3. Experience in design and/or management of fire protection systems.
4. Computer design knowledge with HydraCad or other similar CAD software.
5. Excellent design, planning and scheduling abilities.
6. High accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Self-motivation.
8. Good organisational skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
