Secondary Teacher

Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025. The Narre Warren South Campus is seeking a Secondary Maths Teacher to teach Junior and/or Senior Maths. This role commences in January 2026 with an FTE of 0.6, with the possibility of additional classes or responsibilities for candidates seeking a larger load. We are looking for a teacher will contribute to a culture of learning that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and student engagement. You’ll join a staff team that cares deeply about the formation of students and who are learners themselves – people committed to professional growth and to the good of every student in their care. Responsibilities

- Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

- Be able to teach Math

- Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.

- Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.

- Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.

- Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities.
