The Clinic

The Position
A vacancy for a Clinical Psychologist with post 5 years experience has become available. The position is a rewarding role where you can make a tangible difference, while enjoying a relaxed coastal lifestyle? This clinic is located in Tasmania and reports into a Clinical Director and Consultant Psychiatrist.
About the Role
This autonomous position is ideal for a well-established Clinical Psychologist with at least five years’ post-registration experience who thrives in multidisciplinary settings.
Duties include:
- Provide psychological assessments and therapy to voluntary inpatients
- Deliver group therapy programs as part of our growing mental health services
- Conduct risk assessments and develop tailored interventions
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals
- Support service development as the hospital expands its facilities and programs
This is a 3-day-per-week position (pro rata $135K–$160K p.a.), with the option to extend to full-time.
About You
- Fully registered with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist
- Minimum 5 years’ post-registration experience
- Confident working autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience or interest in trauma-informed care
- Strong clinical judgement and commitment to patient-centred care
