We are seeking a part time Maternal and Child HealthNurse to deliver culturally safe, holistic and community focussed care toAboriginal children (0–6 years) and families across the Albury Wodonga region.

Working two days per week(Mondays and Wednesdays), You will provide warm, respectful and flexiblecare that empowers families to choose how they engage with the service. Thisincludes delivering the Victorian Universal MCH Program, Key Ages & Stages(KAS) consultations, childhood immunisation support, and participating incommunity-based programs and activities.

A key focus of the role isstrengthening positive early childhood outcomes, supporting parents duringearly parenting journeys, and offering an enhanced level of care to familieswho may be experiencing vulnerability or at higher risk of poor outcomes.

You will be part of apassionate Aboriginal-led team, working in partnership with families,community, and health services to ensure culturally responsive, high-qualitysupport. This position also contributes to building a strong, sustainableAboriginal MCH workforce within the region.

In this role, you will:

- Provide culturally safe and responsive MCH servicesto Aboriginal families
- Deliverflexible and community-based early childhood care, including KAS consultationsand homevisiting programs to families with newborns
- Conduct health surveillance andscreening for children aged 0–6
- Support and coordinate immunisation services forfamilies
- Engage in culturally led programs andfamily-focused activities and support parenting through education, counsellingand group sessions
- Promote early intervention and healthpromotion
- Collaboratewith internal teams and external partners to strengthen Aboriginal maternal andchild health services

What You will Bring:

- Current registration with the Nurses Board ofVictoria as RN (Div1) and Midwife with additional qualifications in Maternaland Child Health Nursing
- Accreditation as a nurse immuniser (or willingnessto complete the nurse immuniser course within 6 months of commencement)
- Understanding of current health and social impactsrelevant to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities
- Excellent interpersonal, communicationand organisational skills
- Current driver’s licence andclearances (WWCC, Police Check)
