Overview

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a software development team delivering enterprise web and mobility solutions. The Senior Developer will work within the team to design, develop, and deliver new features for core applications and associated mobile/web solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain features for enterprise web and mobility solutions.
- Deliver high-quality, testable, and maintainable code using .NET technologies.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues reported by customers.
- Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to understand and address business needs.
- Apply agile methodologies to manage and deliver work effectively.
- Produce technical documentation to support system development and maintenance.

Essential Qualifications / Skills

- Minimum 7 years’ commercial full-stack development experience with:
- - .NET Framework 4+,

- C#, and general web development.

- Entity Framework, SQL Server, and T-SQL.

- Angular 10+.

- GIT with strong understanding of branching models.

- Strong capability in delivering robust, testable solutions and associated documentation.
- Ability to investigate and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working directly with clients to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Experience in agile system development practices.
- Advantageous:
- - Spatial development experience.

- Mobile Web and Progressive Web Application (PWA) experience.

Highly Desirable Qualifications / Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively across a broad range of activities.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in business terms to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working within government organisations (preferable but not mandatory).
- Previous experience in large IT/ICT projects, especially those involving complex business change.
- Knowledge and/or experience with:
- - Esri ArcGIS, ArcMap, Leaflet, GeoJson.

- Application performance tuning and optimisation.

- JIRA and Confluence.
