This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency.

The Role

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Physical Education (PE) teacher to lead our specialist program from Kindergarten to Year 6. The successful applicant will inspire a love of movement, teamwork, and healthy living while supporting our whole‑school focus on wellbeing and student engagement.

This role involves planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate PE lessons aligned with the WA Curriculum. You will promote physical literacy, sportsmanship, and collaboration across all year levels, and take the lead in organising school sporting events, carnivals, and interschool competitions. Working closely with staff, you will embed health and wellbeing strategies and align with our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework. A commitment to inclusive, differentiated teaching and maintaining safe, stimulating outdoor learning environment is essential.

Eligibility

- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
