Nido Early School is seeking a cook to join our early learning community. We are looking for a Casual Cook to support our Geelong Region.

Our Geelong services include:

- Waurn Ponds
- Grovedale
- Ocean Grove

We're inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators and families.

This is a fabulous opportunity for someone looking for a more purpose led role, where you will provide healthy meals to our children, nourishing them through food and with knowledge of healthy eating practices

ABOUT YOU:

- Are a voice for all children
- Care about children’s nutrition and dietary requirements
- Contribute to Exceeding outcomes for children and Educators
- Have great time management and love keeping a kitchen in premium condition

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (required)
- Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
- Cert II / III in Commercial Cooking, highly regarded, however not required
- Cooking experience in an early childhood setting, highly regarded
