As a Studio Assistant Educator, there will never be a typical day… Through our play-based learning philosophy we are constantly reminded what a wonderous world we live in. You could go from singing Johnny works with One Hammer to a magician or gardener. Of course, you will still be responsible for all of the compliance-based tasks like safety checks, communicating with families, recording children’s progress, routines, and interests - but all while creating a safe supportive space where children thrive.

Sparrow Early Learning Northam is located in the heart of the Wheatbelt. We are a small, homely service that maintains strong committed partnerships and networks within our local community. We aim to provide the highest level of care and education for children in a warm, nurturing and safe environment.

What you’ll need:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Experience in being a pirate finding lost treasure, making potions, and singing loudly with little people.
- Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current & Valid Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
