The Opportunity

At Infinite Care, we pride ourselves on providing industry leading resident care and services which encourages and enables residents to remain independent with all employees working in our companywide safety-first workplace. Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts.

This role will see you working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. About You

At Infinite Care we hire for heart, so our best people are highly empathic, instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike.

You will also:

- Have qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care), or a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is also eligible.
- Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain it.
- Have excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves.
- Have a very positive teamwork attitude, be a trusted co-worker, have excellent time management, and always follow strict safety procedures.
- Have a passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and be willing to help our company deliver quality of care services every day.
- Display a positive, fun and confident personality to help our residents get involved in lifestyle and group activities.

Infinite Care accepts the Ausmed Passport, a free, digital certificate for the Australian aged care workforce that recognises their completion of eight, sector-wide, core mandatory training topics.

Our care roles are busy, requiring a lot of bending, lifting, pushing and squatting to perform your duties safely. All candidates will be required to complete an online medical assessment to maintain personal and workplace safety standards.
