About the Role:
As our Administration Officer, you’ll be the friendly, professional face of Boronia Aged Care. You’ll provide essential administrative support to our care team, while ensuring residents, families, and visitors feel welcome and valued.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming residents, visitors, and families with warmth and professionalism
- Delivering high-quality administrative support across key areas such as rostering, data entry, compliance tracking, and resident admissions
- Handling multiple priorities with confidence and calm
- Supporting staff and management with day-to-day problem-solving and office coordination
What You’ll Bring:
We’re seeking someone who combines strong admin skills with compassion and professionalism. You’re organised, adaptable, and always ready to lend a hand.
You’ll ideally have:
- Prior admin and reception experience in aged care, healthcare, or a similar setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Strong attention to detail and skills in data management, compliance
- Exposure to rostering responsibilities — including managing shift changes, supporting last minute coverage, and understanding the importance of aligning staffing with resident care needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and discretion
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and a readiness to meet deadlines
