We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lifeguard to join our team at the Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $35.37 per hour (includes casual loading) + superannuation.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all pool areas to ensure the safety of the swimming public. Key factors for success in this role include a strong customer focus and service ethic, with the ability to educate and instruct patrons on behaviour and safety.

On a personal level, you will need to be team-focused, confident, reliable, self-motivated, and have a good eye for detail. Flexibility is essential in your availability to suit our operational requirements, with shifts varying from 5 to 8 hours in duration, including weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

- Current Australian Pool Lifeguard certificate
- Current Australian First Aid certificate

This is a Child Related position, and applicants must have registered for a Working With Children Check to be considered for this position. Employment is subject to verification of the Working With Children Check status.
