About the Role

Reporting to: State Manager (SA)

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Work Location: Adelaide, SA

As a Sales Executive - External, you will be responsible for the effective implementation of services offered to clients that will achieve predetermined targets and budgets for import and export Sales in relation to ANL & CMA CGM in SA.

The role and responsibilities will include:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts.
- Promote CMA CGM Group services and non-maritime products (e.g. e-commerce, VAS, intermodal, CEVA).
- Conduct regular face-to-face client visits and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Support sales planning, including budgets, forecasts, and commercial action plans.
- Maintain accurate customer data and update CRM with commercial activity and feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams and departments to meet customer needs and service expectations.
- Monitor performance against targets and report on market trends and competitor activity.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong computer proficiency and experience using digital tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with flexibility and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, logical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of working independently or in a team.
- Commercially minded with solid negotiation skills and customer-oriented approach.

To be eligible for this role, you must have be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
