Voltex Electrical Accessories is a leading provider of electrical accessories, committed to innovation and excellence in product development. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product and Category Support team member to join our dynamic Product Development team.

This is a remote role based in the Philippines, with occasional travel to our HQ in Adelaide, Australia, when required.

Role Overview

As the Product and Category Support team member, you will play a crucial role in supporting project execution, driving category management strategy, and enabling smooth product development team coordination across all our initiatives.

You’ll collaborate closely with the product development team, category managers, and other stakeholders to assist in product launches, manage documentation, coordinate schedules, support category management through data analysis and reporting, and ensure alignment across projects and departments.

You’ll work remotely, aligning with Australian business hours, and occasionally travel to Adelaide HQ for team collaboration and training when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the product development team to support project timelines, documentation, and communications.
- Coordinate with category managers on project blueprints, scheduling, and product launches.
- Help ensure projects move forward smoothly by supporting category managers with progress tracking, stakeholder updates, and documentation.
- Contribute to the development of tools and processes that improve category management efficiency.
- Assist in preparing installation guides, product datasheets, and training materials.
- Support digital content creation, including customer engagement and product updates, in collaboration with marketing teams.
- Assist with customer engagement activities and help develop insights into customer needs and preferences.
- Research and analyze market trends to support category and marketing strategies.
- Document meeting minutes, supplier discussions, and project progress updates.
- Facilitate sample shipments, product transfers, and competitor product sourcing.
- Support the preparation of product training materials for sales, marketing, and customer service teams.
- Use project management tools and software to coordinate and track project tasks.
- Create visual assets and documentation using basic design tools such as Canva or Adobe when required.
- Contribute to data analysis, BI reporting, report generation, trend analysis, forecasting, and other data-related tasks to inform product, category, and marketing decisions.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles such as project coordinator, category management support, product admin, EA, or marketing/project support roles.
- Prior experience working remotely with Australian or international companies is highly desirable.
- Strong connection to product marketing or marketing support, with the ability to bridge product development, marketing campaigns, and project management activities.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- A technical or engineering background would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours aligned with Australian time zones (minimal difference with PH).
