Electrical Engineer, Building Services, Tier 1 projects

The role will involve working with our team of respected engineers in the Adelaide office and engaging with our national team. This role will see you involved with a variety of activities, including but not limited to the following –

- Carry out assigned project and electrical engineering work as delegated in support of technical and commercial standards;

- Undertake engineering design and documentation for our current electrical engineering projects including electrical power systems, lighting, passive communications and electronic security;

- Communicate effectively with all external (clients, authorities etc.) and internal (colleagues, managers etc.);

- Embody enthusiasm to work with a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary design setting, and;

- Liaise effectively with internal/external stakeholders.

What we’ll love about you

- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical);

- Ideally 3 to 5+ years’ industry experience on Australian building services projects from a selection of sectors, e.g. commercial, health, retail and education;

- Technical skills pertaining electrical engineering, ideally in a consulting engineering environment;

- Understanding and implementation of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3000, NCC etc.) on building services projects;

- Capacity to effectively handling competing priorities, prioritising work and meet tight deadlines;

- Ability to liaise and coordinate effectively with all internal/external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

- Track record of work effectively individually and in a team environment, and;

- Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
