Job Description:
As a Compliance Officer, you will support the business in maintaining adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. You'll collaborate across teams, provide guidance on risk assessment and regulatory updates, and help safeguard the company's operations from compliance-related risks. Key Responsibilities:

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to local and international regulations, including risk management, general compliance frameworks, and industry standards.
- Policy Development: Assist with the creation, review, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure legal conformity.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Conduct routine compliance audits, monitor regulatory obligations, and prepare reports for senior management and external regulators.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for compliance-related queries and liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
- Training: Provide training sessions to staff to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance protocols and regulatory changes.
- Risk Assessment: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential compliance risks across all business operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

- A degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in compliance within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, ASIC).
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
