Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team If you love cooking, in particular, Asian cuisine and you have a strong desire to improve and innovate, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will be supporting the smooth operations of our kitchen, preparing and cooking for and ensuring that each dish that comes out of our kitchen meets our high standards and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using various Asian techniques such as grilling, steaming, stir-frying, deep-frying, braising, and roasting,

· Season and flavour dishes in accordance with the menu

· Create dishes to meet special dietary requirements and individual preferences

· Portion, present and garnish dishes

· Organise and maintain a clean and efficient workstation.

· Set up workstation and operate various types of kitchen equipment

· Ensure proper food storage in temperature-regulated storage

· Review and inspect ingredients for quality and freshness

· Contribute to menu planning and manage kitchen budget

· Train kitchen staff as required

· Ensure that workplace health and safety procedures are adhered to.

Requirements:

· Tertiary qualifications or at least 3-years of work experience

· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· Knowledge of Asian cuisine and cooking techniques

· Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities

· Able to work in a team
