Company Overview

Profusion is delighted to be working with a well renowned, market leading, finance client who is looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer/Investment Data Engineer with excellent Python, Databricks, DBT, SQL and Investments / Wealth /Super experience.

Role Overview

This role will see a highly quantitative Data focused individual with demonstrated Python programming experience work collaboratively in a team of high performing, extremely analytical developers and other investment data experts.

The best candidate will be analytical, curious and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail, and an analytical mind. They are a natural collaborator, an excellent communicator, open to feedback and eager to work side-by-side with other high performing investment data specialists.

Experience and skills
  • Outstanding experience developing solutions in the Python programming language with deep and thorough understanding of common libraries
  • Excellent SQL experience
  • Databricks / DBT experience
  • Agile experience
  • Excellent stakeholder and communications skills
  • Solid Finance/ Banking/ Investments/ Wealth / Super / Trade Floor experience
