As ourHead of Product, your clarity of vision, stakeholder-ship and objectivity, drives our product strategy and feature roadmap. You enable us to deliver industry leading features at the right time for greatest impact, across our entire product offering. You champion our product and business vision, and can marry that with the needs of our customers, creators and players. You own our Product Roadmap and work with all stakeholders across the business to help us make sure we’re focused on the right priorities at the right time. You champion the user experience and always push us to deliver the industry leading solution to make UGC success massive and repeatable for every game using mod.io.

At mod.io, we believe that UGC is the heart of enduring game engagement and longevity. We provide a robust API, SDK, and engine plugins that enable seamless mod integration, content curation, and even facilitate in-game marketplaces for paid UGC. Backed by leading investors like Tencent, Makers Fund, and LEGO Ventures, we're dedicated to fostering vibrant creator communities and helping studios unlock the full potential of their player base.
The Opportunity
This is a critical leadership role that will shape the evolution of mod.io's platform. You will be responsible for defining and executing a product vision that aligns with our product-focused CEO and Founder’s vision, our strategic goals, expands our market reach, and delivers exceptional value to both game developers and players. You'll lead a talented product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and champion the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for mod.io, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends. Work closely with our CEO and Founder to translate his vision into outcomes in our products future roadmap.
- Roadmap Execution: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and research to development, launch, and post-launch iteration. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and features.

For this role, we need someone who has a deep understanding of the video game industry and (hopefully) UGC, who has a track record of delivering services or products for game development studios, and can speak to the challenges studios face when adopting and supporting UGC.
This role will join the leadership team at mod.io, and contribute as a member of a high performance team, which has a clear understanding of what they are doing, why it is important with regards to our roadmap and vision, and that we are set up to do it effectively and efficiently.
Success means mod.io is the UGC service players, creators, studios and publishers demand and can easily pick up and use, because our community, safety features, usability and ease of implementation is the best in the industry.
