**Base salary **(excl of super) $158.85 - $206.22 per hour
**Hours per fortnight**: 35

**The Position**
Bendigo Health is seeking a Clinical Unit Head - HITH / Fractional Specialist to join our enthusiastic team of medical professionals at Bendigo Hospital which covers about 300,000 population in Central Victoria across a large geographical area.

This is a senior medical leadership role for HITH and the Physician will be responsible to provide leadership and management to the HITH team including clinical governance, service planning, people management, regional leadership, education and research. The role will also be required provide and co-ordinate direct clinical service delivery and continue the development of and lead a highly productive, cohesive multidisciplinary team.

You will be a suitably experienced Physician seeking a rewarding career through your contribution to a large regional tertiary referral hospital with a growing role in teaching and the professional development of Interns, HMOs and Registrars.

**The Hospital in the Home (Medical) Team**

Hospital in the Home (HITH) offers selected patients the opportunity to receive hospital services in their own home environment. HITH patients remain under the care of BH and are an inpatient of BH whilst in the program. Patients come under the care of the HITH medical team in consultation with specialty units as required.
