Let’s make a meaningful difference, together**Your part in our UnitingCare team**This role provides a holistic response to the needs of families whose children are at imminent risk of out of home placement or requiring reunification following a period of out of home care.**In this role you'll:*** Works intensively with families in their homes to address issues relating to, but not limited to, child protection concerns.* Provide negotiated combinations of therapeutic interventions, practical and emotional support, counselling and education, families are offered opportunities to make informed decisions and change for their future.* A Tertiary qualification (minimum Bachelor Degree) in a relevant human services field with relevant experience in previous roles, and where relevant registration with a nationally recognised professional body is desirable* Demonstrated skills and sound knowledge gained through experience working with children and families* Be able to achieve results through personal proficiency and demonstrate high-quality technical or professional work* Experience in the area of child protection is preferred* Blue Card* Current Drivers Licence*Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and therefore may result in the role closing early if the right applicant is found.* * **Flexible work arrangements** to support work-life balance* **NFP Salary Packaging:** Save tax and increase your take home pay by salary packaging your everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900) and meal entertainment (up to $2,650) per annum.
