About the Role
As a Psychologist at Mindplace, you’ll be a pivotal part of our team, shaping the future of mental health services with Bupa. This role is a patient-facing clinical position where you will be seeing Bupa customers and others who wish to utilise the Bupa services. This is an opportunity to drive meaningful change and innovate new ways to support mental health journeys throughout Australia.
In this role, you’ll:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and provide evidence-based therapies
- Develop personalised treatment plans based on assessments and patient needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans
- Build and sustain collaborative relationships with referring healthcare providers to strengthen patient referral networks and support practice growth
- Coordinate with external providers to fulfil service requests within an established procedural framework
Your Opportunity

This role will be based at our new centre in Townsville

About you
We’re seeking an experienced Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist with:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or a Master’s/Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
- General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, with Clinical Psychology endorsement and substantial experience in mental health care.
- 5+ years of recent clinical experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Advanced clinical expertise in mental health services.
- Experience delivering high-quality care and fostering innovation in service delivery.
