Job Description
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients while maintaining proper records.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and supporting documentation.
- Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address queries and provide necessary information.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer should have:
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
