Overview
Notice: WA Health is implementing a new online recruitment system, Corporate Recruitment Advertising Management System (CRAMS), which will replace the current Recruitment Advertising Management System (RAMS). If this is your first application using this new platform, an account will be automatically registered for you as you submit your first application. This platform, and your user account, is separate to the www.jobs.health.wa.gov.au recruitment platform, and therefore requires different log in details. Job applications are moving to the new system between December 2024 and July 2025. If you are looking for other vacancies within WA Health, visit www.jobs.health.wa.gov.au for all advertised jobs. If you have any questions or difficulties, direct your queries to the contact person listed on the job advert that brought you to this site.

Selection criteria

Eligibility to Apply
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
Other Conditions
WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. You may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. We may ask referees to comment on your integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour. Adverse information does not necessarily disqualify an applicant but will be considered as part of the appointment process.
Please note this recruitment process requires completion of a satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA). Any offer of employment with WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is conditional on satisfactory PEHA to ensure you are able to perform the inherent requirements of the position. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer of employment being withdrawn. See the attached WACHS PEHA Policy for further information.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
