About the Role:
As a Glazier with SIDHU Building and Construction, you will be responsible for handling, cutting, assembling, and finishing glass and mirror products with precision and care. You will work on a diverse range of projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Select suitable glass types, colours, and dimensions tailored to project specifications
- Prepare and position glass for cutting using hand and power tools
- Lay glass over patterns or in jigs for precise cutting and shaping
- Inspect glass for defects and mark areas for removal
- Accurately cut glass following specified patterns and templates
- Use notched tools and glass pliers to break off excess glass
- Measure, mark, grind, polish, and finish glass edges and surfaces
- Apply coatings, cut, etch, trim, and treat glass for decorative and functional effects
- Operate machinery such as CNC, water jet, or polishing machines (experience advantageous)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or equivalent qualification
- Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
What We Offer:
Competitive salary range: $70,000 – $80,000 per annum plus superannuation
