Research Consultant - Global Technology Giant Sydney $AUD 75-95,000 + Super - (posted Sep 26 2025)
Job Spec: Ready to take the next step in your market research career? Join a boutique insights agency known for delivering world-class research that helps clients make real change. Much of your time will be spent servicing one of their anchor clients - a global technology giant, but you'll also work with leading financial services brands, fashion and apparel clients and pioneering local e-commerce businesses. This team thrives on curiosity, collaboration, and fresh thinking. You'll be working across both local and international projects, blending quantitative and qualitative methods to build a full picture of consumer behaviour. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to continue building their research toolkit while contributing to projects that truly influence brand and business strategy.
The role
- Contribute to impactful projects that combine quantitative and qualitative research to uncover consumer insights.
- Build strong day‑to‑day relationships with clients, becoming a trusted and reliable project partner.
- Take ownership of projects from design to delivery, with support from experienced seniors.
- Learn and apply a variety of methodologies, from brand positioning and segmentation to pricing, CX/UX, and communications research.
- Develop your skills in analysis, storytelling, and presenting insights that spark action.
What you bring
- About 2+ years’ experience in a market research agency or similar environment.
- A good foundation in quantitative research methods, with exposure to qualitative approaches a plus.
- Strong data analysis (Q or SPSS), reporting, and presentation skills.
- A curious, proactive mindset and the confidence to work closely with clients and colleagues.
- A desire to grow your skills in a supportive and innovative environment.
