What You’ll Drive

As the Senior Business Analyst for our SIS Modernisation Project, you will shape the strategic direction of a future‑ready student information ecosystem. This role is about high‑level analysis—defining capabilities, influencing design decisions, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.

- Lead capability‑based planning to identify what the organisation needs to achieve.

- Facilitate strategic workshops and engage stakeholders to uncover future‑state priorities.

- Assess current‑state processes and systems to highlight gaps and transformation opportunities.

- Define future‑state capabilities that enable enterprise‑wide change across TAFE SA.

- Provide insights and recommendations that guide subsequent phases of the program.

- Champion innovative thinking and challenge assumptions to deliver transformative outcomes.

The Skills You Bring

- You bring a strategic mindset and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, high‑level analysis that drives enterprise change.

- Proven experience in business analysis for large‑scale transformation programs (SIS or ERP preferred).

- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and capability modelling.

- Ability to challenge assumptions and guide stakeholders toward innovative, future‑focused solutions.

- Expertise in business capability mapping, gap analysis, and solution evaluation.

- Exceptional facilitation and communication skills to align diverse stakeholders.

- Be a collaborative project team member.

- Document processes, capabilities, and gaps using industry‑standard frameworks and tools.

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
