JLT Risk Solutions Pty Ltd is a standalone business unit within the Marsh Pacific business that enjoys a 96% market share across Australia and has supported Public Sector clients since 1972. We have developed a unique method to provide risk solutions for Government clients and work innovatively to produce effective solutions designed to protect assets, people and communities. Nationally, we provide risk management for over 500 Government organisations with a personalised service offering to each client.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Broking team, specialising in the delivery of best-in-class risk solutions for Public Sector clients within Tasmania. This role is remote/hybrid, with requirements to visit clients across Tasmania. The position can be based anywhere within Tasmania; the successful candidate will need their own transport and will be provided with a travel allowance.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored risk transfer solutions in collaboration with our teams.
- Retain and grow your portfolio of clients of varying sizes and strategic goals.
- Provide timely and accurate client advice across a range of insurance and mutual products.
- Identify risk opportunities for your client portfolio and design appropriate servicing solutions.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction within the portfolio and drive continuous improvement in our service offering.
- Achieve renewal and new business targets for both mutual and insurance products.

What you need to have

- Minimum of 3-5 years of general or financial lines insurance broking.
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to apply critical thinking to solve problems, strategically plan and be agile where needed.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Full and valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
