CPP has the largest in-house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 170 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. The Opportunity

Consolidated Power Projects are currently seeking an experienced Primary Design Engineer to join our NSW & QLD Engineering Team based in our South Granville office.

Primary Design Engineers develops high quality designs for Primary High Voltage (HV) systems. They are guided by the Principal and Senior Engineers, assisting with the designing, testing, and commissioning of HV systems.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Previous experience developing designs associated with HV primary systems including but not limited to, cable rating, load flow, insulation coordination, earthing and lightning protection studies
- Ability to work closely with and provide guidance to, the substation drafting and design team
- Willingness to support project managers and site staff with technical advice and guidance
- Stakeholder engagement skills to liaise with client engineers, suppliers and subcontractors in the delivery of designs, including close liaison with Civil, Structural, Buildings and Site Services disciplines
