What You’ll Do

- Contribute to assigned projects as part of a team to deliver customer outcomes. Lead teams in your capability area/s, whenrequired.

- Assist, whenrequested, in developing, estimating, and reviewing proposals and submissions to customers

- Support the developmentof methodologycollateral and IP development in your capabilityarea/s.

- Participate in CT coaching and professional development programs. Provide peer review and professional development support to others in your capability area/s.

- Continue tothedevelopment of skills in your capability area/s, as well as explore the development of new skills that broaden your professional capabilities.

- Work in multi-disciplined teams to advise, design, build, and implement pragmatic, secure solutions that address requirements laid out by the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) for PROTECTED implementations of cloud-hosted services.

- Enhance security team accomplishments and competence through the delivery of quality, secure cloud/hybrid solutions.

- Supporting the safe and secure storage of sensitive and security classified materials produced by or entrusted to CT.

- Analyseandascertainsecurity requirements, aligning them with relevant frameworks.

- Conduct real-time monitoring of security alerts and incidentsutilisingour SIEM tools (FortiSIEMand MS Sentinel) to ensure swift identification and resolution of potential threats.

- Collaborate with all stakeholders to configure and fine-tune security tools

- Develop andmaintaincomprehensive documentation on security procedures and guidelines.

- Stay uptodate with the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance our security posture.

- Tune detection rules and use case logic to reduce false positives whilemaintainingdetection quality.

- Mentor Cyber Analysts

- Call out ways to improve clients’ environments and researchpossible solutions.

- Make recommendations to streamline processes and improve operating efficiencies

What You’ll Bring

- Must hold an active NV1 Clearance for this role.

- Extensive experience in cybersecurity engineering, including infrastructure,network,endpointand cloud security

- Highly experienced in implementing SOAR for the purpose of reducing recurring tickets (FortiSOARpreferred)

- Demonstrated experience implementing cloud and hybrid security solutions

- Strong consulting and engagement experience with the ability to represent cyber security viewpoints to diverse audiences.

- Recent experience with security design, architecture, and implementationforMicrosoft cloud services.

- Experience applying the ACSC Information Security Manual (ISM) to the cloud or hybrid solutions

- Familiarity with Australian cyber regulation and compliance standards (Essential Eight,SOCI,NIST.ISM).

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment with experience integrating security into the DevOps lifecycle.with experience integrating security into the DevOps lifecycle.

- Occasional travel to onsite client locations may berequired.
