The Opportunity:

We have ambitious plans to grow our Melbourne Business; this is an exciting time to join as we launch into our 2030 strategy

- Mentoring: Provide mentoring and guidance to our drainage team.
- Diverse Design Tasks: Engage in designing and leading stormwater drainage, services coordination, and interdisciplinary coordination across various market sectors.
- Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis: Undertake and lead hydrologic and hydraulic analysis with 12D, DRAINS, and other hydrologic/hydraulic models such as RORB and TUFLOW.
- Exciting Projects: Work on projects spanning energy, resources, civic, water, and transport markets.
- Design Management: Lead design activities and packages independently while overseeing and coordinating the work of others.
- Client Interaction: Grow relationships with clients, both internal and external.
- Collaborative Environment: Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and other professionals across the business.
- Business Development: Support business development activities, including identifying opportunities, pursuing new work, and writing proposals.
- Impactful Work: Report to the National Hydrology and Hydraulics Capability Lead and use your design and analysis skills to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients, including state and local governments, resource and energy companies, and tier 1 contractors.

What You Bring:

- VIC-Based Experience: Experience with design and construction projects in Victoria is preferred, as well as experience with MRPV projects and Melbourne Water approvals.

- Proven Design Experience: Demonstrated experience in design and design management, preferably including multidisciplinary work with at least 7-10 years of experience as a civil/drainage engineer.
- Technical Skills: Experience in general civil engineering design across energy, resources, or similar market areas, and general civil design work. Experience with a range of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis tools.
- Professional Qualifications: Currently hold or be eligible for CPEng and/or RPEQ/RPEV.
