High Voltage Electrician

PHE High Voltage is expanding, and we’re on the hunt for an experienced and driven High Voltage Electrician to become a vital part of our team. This is a full-time, permanent role with endless opportunities to grow and work on exciting projects.
In this role, you will:
- Install, inspect, and maintain high voltage electrical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in high voltage systems and components.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance to prevent system failures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement high voltage system upgrades and modifications.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards for high voltage work.
- Document all work performed, including Inspection Test Plans and Reports.
- Mentoring junior electricians and apprentices.
ABOUT YOU:
- Strong understanding of high voltage safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and adaptability to various environmental conditions.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
The successful candidate will have:
- Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.
- QLD Electrical License.
- HV Switching Certificate
- Current CPR/LVR certification (within the last 9 months).
- Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License.
- White/Blue Construction Card.
