About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and strategic Program Governance Lead to oversee governance and compliance across a major Salesforce transformation program at a leading university. This role is pivotal in ensuring program alignment with organisational objectives, risk frameworks, and delivery milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance governance frameworks for the Salesforce program, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to the university's risk management framework, decision register, and fortnightly status reporting protocols.
- Manage the preparation and timely distribution of Steering Committee packs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Partner with program leadership to align deliverables with strategic objectives, implementation partner contracts, and the overall delivery plan.
- Oversee program‑level financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and goods receipting processes.
- Support recruitment activities, ensuring roles are filled promptly and within budget.
- Lead a governance team comprising a Master Scheduler, Program Officer, and Senior Program Officer.
- Monitor governance KPIs, track project performance, and report on compliance and governance effectiveness to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, PMO, and leadership to embed governance practices and facilitate informed decision‑making.
- Deliver governance training and promote awareness of compliance and risk management across the program.
- Undertake additional activities as required to ensure successful program delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in program governance or PMO leadership within large‑scale transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of risk management, financial oversight, and reporting frameworks.
- Experience managing cross‑functional teams and working with senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organisational skills.
