Domestic Assistance Home Care Worker – Aged Care (Gold Coast Area)

- Location: Gold Coast Northern Rivers, Queensland

About the Role: We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Domestic Assistance Home Care Worker to support our aged care clients throughout the Gold Coast. You will assist clients with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment, as well as provide essential daily living support.

Key Responsibilities: not limited to

- Perform domestic duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, meal preparation, washing dishes, changing bed linen, laundry, ironing, cleaning bathrooms/toilets, and fridge cleaning

- Shopping for clients as required

- Offer social interaction and companionship

Ideal Candidate:

- Previous experience in a similar aged care role is highly valued

- Passionate about supporting vulnerable people with dignity and respect

- Current Police Clearance to work with vulnerable clients

- First Aid and CPR certification up to date

- Valid Open Australian driver’s licence with no restrictions

- Access to a registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance for work purposes

- Ability to speak a second language is an advantage
