Overview

Experienced Paramedics and Intensive Care Paramedics provide a high-standard of patient care to the SA community and deliver ‘Patient First’ pre-hospital care.

Paramedic roles are based in various locations across the Adelaide metropolitan area and regional South Australia. Our paramedics work within a structured team environment, with accessible team leaders and managers supporting continual professional and personal development as clinicians. The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time. Applicants are encouraged to discuss the flexible working arrangements for these roles.

Eligibility and Requirements

- Be a permanent resident or Citizen of Australia or New Zealand or hold full rights to work in Australia (no sponsorship will be provided by SAAS)
- Must be registered with AHPRA in the Paramedicine profession
- Have successfully completed a Paramedic Internship or equivalent work history
- Have experience as a practicing Paramedic relevant to the role
- Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance (Unsupervised Contact with Vulnerable Groups) and South Australian Working with Children Check
- Hold a current unrestricted Driver’s Licence valid in South Australia (license must meet SA driving requirements – i.e., class C)
