Job Description

- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards.

- Responsible for lease accounting, inventory accounting and maintenance of fixed asset register

- Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.

- Daily bank reconciliation, including posting of customer receipting and overall bank transactions posting.

- Assist and support the inter-company accounting function including inter-company recharging and month end reconciliation.

- Facilitate and complete statutory audit and annual tax filing.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- CPA or CA qualification

- Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of Australian and US accounting standards.

- Strong prior experience at a similar level preferably with a global organization

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
