OUR TEAM

Our Explosive Ordnance Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.

Within our logistics services business there are 17+ depots throughout Australia, allowing various development and progression opportunities.

YOUR ROLE

Thales Australia is seeking a dedicated Assistant Stocktaker to join our team in Myambat. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in warehousing and inventory management.

Working at our Orchard Hills site, on Darug land, your role purpose is to:

- Operating the inventory management system

- Reporting any stock discrepancies to the Stocktake Coordinator

- Conducting research and investigations as required, interrogating stock history to complete investigations

- Involvement with stock counting

- Building and maintaining a good working relationship with all staff members within the logistic services business

- Demonstrate a personal commitment to all matters relating to health and safety

YOUR EXPERIENCE

- Good knowledge and experience in stocktaking and warehouse processes

- Excellent attention to detail with very good numeric, oral and written communication skills

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

- Previous experience within the Defence / Logistics industry would be highly advantageous
