Senior Design & Operational Works Coordinator

Waratah-Wynyard Council have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Design & Operational Works Coordinator to support our growing municipality.

Are you ready to take the next step in your engineering career? We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Design & Operational Works Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in planning, designing, and overseeing the delivery of Council’s capital and operational works programmes.

This is a permanent full-time position working 75 hours over a 9-day fortnight.

Responsibilities

- Plan, design and oversee the delivery of Council’s capital and operational works programmes.
- Provide leadership and guidance within the design and operational works team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects meet requirements, timelines and budget.

Qualifications

- A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of contract management and infrastructure delivery.
