The Role:

We are on the lookout for experienced, hard-working and motivated MPU Operators to join our growing Platinum family. We have permanent full-time positions available within the Isaac Region. Reporting to the Operations Manager, these positions will be offered on a 7:7 even time roster with flexible travel arrangements dependent on site and location.

Responsibilities

- Operate MPU within coal operations in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with the Operations Manager and site personnel.
- Work on a 7:7 even time roster with flexible travel arrangements as required by site location.

What You'll Need

- Previous experience as an MPU Operator within coal operations
- Standard 11 or willingness to obtain
- QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card OR ability to obtain one
- Heavy Rigid (or greater) Driver Licence
- Statement of Attainment or proven training in conducting mobile mixing of explosives
- A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
- Fit, healthy, and ready to do the hard yards
- The ability to pass pre-employment checks inclusive of medicals and national background checks
