An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic and committed Learning Enhancement Assistants to join our College community on either a full time or part time, ongoing basis.
Reporting to the Head of Learning Enhancement, the Learning Enhancement Assistants will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs to flourish, academically, socially and emotionally, across Years 7 to 12. Working alongside classroom teachers, the Learning Enhancement Assistants will help create inclusive and engaging learning environments that balance challenge with support.
Applicants seeking either full time or part time positions will be considered.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require:
- Qualifications in Education Support or equivalent, or be currently completing a qualification in teaching or allied health
- Outstanding presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with a range of stakeholders including students, staff and parents
- Initiative, reliability and a genuine commitment to inclusive education
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded but not essential)
- Current Victorian Working with Children Check
- a cover letter addressed to the Principal; indicating your preference for a full time or part time position, and
- a resume, including at least 2 professional referees.
