**About the Role**:
Looking to supplement your Physiotherapy degree learnings and boost your career prospects? We’re a friendly, inclusive, and supportive Physiotherapy team seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to provide essential support for our Physiotherapy services.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering delegated interventions, contributing to the well-being of our clients. While your main shifts will be on weekends in our Acute and Subacute Physiotherapy units, there’s potential for casual weekday shifts with our AHA service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist in implementing tailored treatment programs for clients and their caregivers
. Set up and maintain therapy equipment
. Adhere to delegated authority guidelines in all tasks
. Ensure a respectful and welcoming environment for patients, clients, visitors, and staff
. Safely manage and maintain equipment, including conducting inspections and arranging repairs
. Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding any concerns related to patients or their families

**Key Selection Criteria**:
**Essential**:
Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or currently studying a Physiotherapy degree with at least 2 years completed. Students currently in their second year are welcome to apply, with successful applicants able to commence once they have received their second-year results.- Strong verbal and written communication skills
. Excellent organizational abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines
. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve client goals
. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other computer systems
. Well-developed interpersonal skills

**Desirable**:
Experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or care-provision settings
