Overview

Domestic Assistance Worker providing supportive home-based services to older Australians, with flexible shifts from early morning to afternoon. The role focuses on helping clients stay independent by performing cleaning, cooking, and companionship within their homes.

Responsibilities

- Perform domestic tasks as scheduled, including bed making, vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cooking, and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.

- Welcome clients warmly, confirm task priorities, and complete tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment across multiple client visits (cleaning, cooking, and conversation as needed).

- Assist with grocery shopping, meal planning, and sharing recipes; engage with clients to support independent living.

- Record notes in the system after each visit using mobile apps to ensure clear and accurate documentation.

What You'll Bring

- No qualifications needed.

- Must-Haves: driver’s license, reliable car, comprehensive insurance, WWCC, and First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).

- Tech-Friendly: comfortable using smartphones and tablets.
