The Cloud Solution Architecture role involves gathering customer insights, mapping architecture, and proposing digital transformation solutions based on Microsoft technologies. The role requires coaching team members to focus on customer experience through efficient delivery, driving adherence to Microsoft standards and recommended practices, and providing a holistic perspective of customer challenges and competitor architectures. The role is within the Cloud and AI Platform CSA team which is dedicated to enhancing the customer's experience with Microsoft’s Cloud and AI services as they transition to cloud solutions. We achieve this by offering our customers value through adaptable and efficient delivery methods, all underpinned by standardized processes.

We are hiring a senior-level Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) focused on Application Innovation to lead customer engagements across Azure App Services, Containers, DevOps, and AI-powered applications. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives on solving complex challenges and driving digital transformation at scale.

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in application architecture, cloud-native development, or consulting.
- Deep expertise in Azure App Services, AKS, GitHub, and DevOps practices.

Preferred

- Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), GitHub Copilot certifications.
- Experience with AI application frameworks (e.g., Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry).
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Customer Centricity

- Lead customer engagements to modernize applications using Azure-native services.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions that drive value and innovation.
- Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders.

Technical Leadership

- Architect and deliver solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps, App Services, and GitHub Copilot.
- Guide customers through DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development.
- Contribute to internal communities and mentor junior CSAs.

Business Impact

- Drive adoption of Azure App Innovation workloads and AI application patterns.
- Support milestone delivery and usage acceleration aligned with MCEM.
- Influence partner and engineering teams to remove blockers and scale impact.
