Cyber Security Architect - 12 month contract

This role ensures the technology landscape is resilient, compliant, and aligned with evolving cyber threats.

We're seeking a Cyber Security Architect to design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain end-to-end security architecture and reference designs.

- Lead threat modelling, risk assessments, and security reviews for new and existing solutions.

- Define security standards, policies, and technical controls across cloud, network, and application environments.

- Partner with engineering and IT teams to embed security into solution designs and delivery pipelines.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to strengthen security posture.

- Guide incident response, vulnerability remediation, and architecture-level root cause analysis.

Skills needed

- Strong expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), network segmentation, IAM, and zero-trust principles.

- Proven experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK).

- Hands‑on knowledge of SIEM, endpoint security, encryption, and DevSecOps tooling.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, SABSA)
