Sydney, Australia Unifiedhealth Full time

At Unified Health, we’ve been delivering high-quality, person-centred care since 2011.

We’re a well established multidisciplinary organisation working along the East Coast of NSW, with clinics in Newcastle, Forster, and Ballina. Our clinicians work across a variety of settings, including private practice, NDIS, aged care, and homecare packages, providing exposure, clinical diversity, and the ability to make a genuine impact from day one.

Our Newcastle clinic is something truly special, a welcoming, experienced, and high-performing team, committed to growing the next generation of health professionals. There isn’t anywhere quite like Unified Health. Opportunities like this don’t come along often and for good reason.

We value creativity, growth, and authentic teamwork and we’re committed to walking alongside you as you transition from student to confident clinician.

Feeling Underwhelmed or a New Grad?

If you’re a new graduate or in your first few years out as an OT and feel like your current opportunity isn’t quite delivering what you expected, this role was made for you.

At Unified Health, you’ll be mentored, supported, and challenged. You’ll grow faster by working in a private clinic with support, experienced colleagues, and a strong community presence.

This is not just a job, it’s a meaningful, career launching opportunity.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based at our Newcastle clinic, offering variety and flexibility. You’ll work across a blended caseload of private clients, NDIS participants (including paediatric, adolescent and adult participants), and aged care clients – both within the clinic and in the community.

What you’ll be doing:

- Manage a varied caseload with strong supervision and mentoring
- Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans aligned with client goals
- Recommend and trial assistive technology and home modifications
- Build your confidence across private, NDIS, and aged care service streams
- Access weekly supervision and a full New Graduate Framework
- Use clinic-based cars available daily for all community travel

Learn from a Whole Team — Not Just OTs

You won’t just be learning from experienced Occupational Therapists. You’ll collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team including:

- Physiotherapists
- Occupational Therapy Assistants
- And a hands-on, supportive management team who are actively involved in your journey

This cross-disciplinary exposure will help you develop faster and deliver more holistic care to clients of all ages and needs.

What You’ll Get:

New Graduate Program – Weekly supervision, structured learning, and ongoing support

Best-in-class tech – Laptops, tablets, and leading clinical software to support your day-to-day

Clinic community cars – Ready for you each day for client travel

A dedicated administration team – Helping you stay focused on clinical work, not paperwork

A full-time role in coastal Newcastle – where lifestyle meets career development

️ Genuine work-life balance – We encourage time to recharge, reflect, and grow

Regular team events, celebrations, and CPD opportunities – Stay connected and inspired

A culture built on respect, support, and continuous improvement

- Experienced Occupational Therapist or newly graduated (AHPRA-registered or close)
- Someone eager to learn, grow, and make a difference
- A clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
- A valid driver’s licence (for community travel in our clinic cars)
- Someone ready to be part of a team that cares about each other and about the people we support

Ready to Take the First (or Next) Step?

This isn’t your average grad job. It’s a rare chance to step into a clinic that’s built for learning, growth, and excellence with a team that truly has your back.
