Overview

Rams International located in Dubbo - NSW is seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their grocery orders in a timely and professional manner. You will be responsible for transporting goods from our store to various customer locations, maintaining the delivery vehicle, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

- Collects Goods from a Collection Point for Delivery
- Plans Delivery Routes to Ensure Efficient and Timely Delivery of Goods to the Destination
- Organises Items for Delivery According to Delivery Routes
- Loads and Unloads Items for Delivery in a Safe and Secure Manner
- Receives Certification of Delivery and Completes Delivery Logs and Records
- Returns Undelivered Items to the Appropriate Location
- Performs Routine Maintenance and Inspections on the Delivery Vehicle to Ensure Safe and Efficient Operation
- May Receive and Process Payments for Deliveries
- Maneuvering Vehicles into Position for Loading and Unloading
- Verifying Loading Documents

The delivery driver is responsible for picking up goods from warehouses, stores, or designated collection points, ensuring the accuracy of items against loading documents, and ensuring items are ready for transport.

Qualifications & Experience

- AQF Certificate II or III in business
- At least three to four years of relevant experience
- A proactive, motivated approach with a “can-do” attitude.
- Valid Driver's License: You must hold a current driver's license for the type of vehicle you will be driving.
- Clean Driving Record: Employers typically require a clean driving history, indicating responsible vehicle operation.
