Electrical Engineer – Mining, Infrastructure & Utilities

Our Brisbane team is growing, and we are looking for a locally based Electrical Engineer in the mining, infrastructure utilities and manufacturing industries, for current and ongoing projects. You will be a detail‑oriented engineer with project, site or consultancy experience capable of working from initial concept, through coordination of detailed design, to installation and commissioning. Be willing to work onsite to support clients and perform project tasks.

Key Skills & Experience:

- Relevant (3‑7 years) and current electrical engineering experience

- Design exposure to LV and HV system design and cable sizing, cable management system, protection systems, substations, motor controls and switchboards

- Power systems modelling using software; Power tools for Windows (PTW), eTap and Power Cad 5. Experience with DigSILENT Power Factory would be well regarded

- Testing and commissioning experience (FAT, SAT) will be added value

- Experience with engineering works in mining and/or infrastructure and/or utilities

- Exposure to generating study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications and datasheets will be added value

- Exposure to AutoCAD and/or MicroStation drawing packages will be added value

- Ability to deliver projects on time, on budget and to Verbrec and client standards

- Ability to maintain engineering standards across all designs and projects
