Service Technician - Electronic Equipment Trades Worker

Servcore works closely with ARA Group's service divisions - Fire, Electrical, Mechanical, Property Services, and Projects - to integrate solutions for clients in a broad range of sectors including defence, government, financial and corporate.
Servcore is earnestly seeking a Service Technician to join our hard working and supportive team. We are offering a salary of $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per annum plus superannuation.
Job Details: Full-Time, 38 hours per week.
Location: 45 Chetwynd St, Loganholme QLD 4129.
Position Summary
In this role you will be supporting a broad range of blue-chip commercial and retail customers. A Service Technician carries out troubleshooting and service of installed equipment at client sites, to ensure systems are maintained in the correct working order. These tasks are assigned by the Service Manager/Coordinator, and must be completed in the required time frames. Furthermore, the tasks must adhere to the required standard and in a manner which complies with the WHS Policies of ARA.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Commercial electrical installation projects
High end IT data and communications infrastructure
Electrical and communication works within critical and essential services
Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
National rollouts of new and retrofit programmes.
24/7 national electrical service and maintenance support to our Australia wide customer base.
Leadership of small teams onsite including Trades Assistances and Apprentices
Working across projects

Key Behaviours:
As a customer facing representative of Servcore, project a professional image that reflects the ARA Group's continued focus and commitment to customer service and client satisfaction. This includes compliance with relevant Servcore dress code (e.g. Steel cap boots, Servcore shirt, trousers, etc.) and maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
Attend client service requests as scheduled by the Service Administrator within the time
required by the client's Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Working across project and service teams
Working autonomously or within the team
Ensure correct use of electrical test equipment and tools and comply with Servcore Safe Operating Procedures & also where applicable work in line with the Safe work method statements that were issued upon commencement.
Update job status regularly with office Administration to reflect progress – This enables the Service Manager/ Coordinator in scheduling work.
Identify/diagnose the issue/s at the client's site.
Rectify the issue/s at the client's site on the first visit.
Complete a Field Service Report for site attendances including Time on Site and Travel Time, prior to leaving each site.
Time sheet to be accurately completed and submitted weekly.
Report issues, activities or safety concerns to your manager which may influence service delivery or customer relations in a timely manner. This includes providing information of changes at client sites and discrepancies for engineering drawings if required.
Any other reasonable duties as directed by supervisor/manager.

Relevant Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum four years related experience and knowledge of all commonly used equipment;
Current drivers licence;
