Job Description

You will play a critical role in supervising the maintenance of advanced aircraft systems, managing airborne power systems, avionics, sonar, radar and communication systems.

This role has two streams: Aviation or Cyber Systems. Your daily work will vary depending on your chosen stream.

In the Aviation stream, you will primarily be responsible for avionics (electronics and internal systems) on aircraft that enable flight. This includes various systems such as power generation and distribution, radar and navigation, surveillance, electronic control, mission, communications, and electronic warfare.

In the Cyber Systems stream, you will mainly work on IT & network equipment that enables the Air Force to stay connected within the organisation, and with others. Your duty is to ensure all aircraft in the sky and personnel on the ground can communicate regardless of location.

  • Aircraft Maintenance: You will oversee the maintenance of state-of-the-art aircraft, ensuring they are airworthy and performing optimally.
  • Cybersecurity: In the Cyber Systems stream, you will be responsible for securing the Air Force's IT and network infrastructure from cyber threats.
