The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for apermanent full-time Electricianto join our Maintenance Reliability team on a night shift.

If have a background in FMCG (Fast moving consumer goods) manufacturing or want to learn about FMCG manufacturing, then this role may be right for you. We are looking for qualified industrial electricians with right culture fit, a bright attitude, and the willingness to learn within a team environment.

The successful applicant will demonstrate proven knowledge, skills, attention to detail and be an effective communicator in a team environment.

This role will be working our night shift reporting into the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.

The successful candidate(s) will:

- Have relevant qualifications in the Electrical Trade.

- Preferred work experience within the FMCG manufacturing industry.

- Available to work Night shift Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm-6:30am

- Be able to work independently and proactively on preventive maintenance, breakdowns and new installation work.

- Good fault-finding skills and the ability to read electrical drawings.

- Be competent in servicing and maintaining industrial equipment.

- Have a basic understanding of how a PLC operates

- Be familiar with and able to use a computerised Maintenance System

- Communicate with management in relation to equipment and maintenance issues.

- Be safety-focused and process-driven.

- Display positive behaviours in alignment with Sanitarium’s values and be a reliable member of the team.
