About the role

Working closely with our Senior Director of Sales, you'll build a clear and credible vision for our sales teams. You'll identify, create and nurture opportunities to drive growth and revenue across our portfolio of Hotels with a focus on our Brisbane luxury & lifestyle hotels.

Tasks & responsibilities

- Responsible for the acquisition and retention of accounts in Australia and business profitability of Pro-invest Hotels (PIH) and Vista Hospitality portfolio.
- Prospecting and converting new customers
- Develop and implement short and long-term sales strategies for the business, to ensure revenue and room night goals are achieved.
- Actively pursue opportunities to enlarge the sales base, create an ongoing pipeline, and successfully shift business from the competition through active engagement with the customer via voice conversations.
- Develop and maintain strong relations, contact with key decision makers, and key influencers that are relevant and aligned to the business.
- Review business performance and understand the dynamics of the local market, demand generators, economic and consumer trends.

Qualifications & experience

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales related area with proven track record.
- Ability to prospect and convert new customers.
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong influencer and persuader.
- Flexible work approach.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
